Aquaculture ID provides both manual and automated fish grading equipment for hatcheries, nurseries and grow out operations.
Mesh graders are used for grading the earliest life stages of the fish. Our handmade floating mesh graders are manufactured out of long lasting materials, like stainless steel (SS304) wired mesh and PVC. Aquaculture ID has two sizes of mesh graders available:
Grading fish from 0,2 to around 20 grams is easy using fixed bar graders. Aquaculture ID produces these floating graders in all sizes between 3 and 13 mm. The graders are manufactured from PE and PVC and are very robust. For optimal grading at least 3 bar graders are used in each grading procedure, allowing fish to be graded in at least two batches.
Aquaculture ID offers an adjustable, floating, bar grader. This grader is manufactured from sturdy aluminum and PVC and is easily adjustable between 3 and 16 mm.
In small to medium size grow out operations, grading fish from 20 to 200 grams per piece is easy using a grading table. Fish is brought on the table and is graded by hand and on sight. The grading table, constructed of waterproof multiplex, is placed on an easy to clean stainless steel stand.
For medium or large size nursery and grow out farms automated fish graders are essential. These graders have a high flow rate, reducing the impact on the fish, but increasing efficiency. These machines can grade up to 4 different size classes at once and can be equipped with automatic fish counters. Aquaculture ID can supply the right automatic fish grader with optional equipment fit to your operations.
